R. Brett McQueen, Ph.D. is the Director for the Center for Pharmaceutical Value (pValue) at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, where he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy. Brett’s work includes comparative effectiveness research, cost-effectiveness applications and methods development, multi-criteria decision analysis, outcomes-based contracting, and patient preferences research. His work in diabetes combines real-world evidence and simulation modeling to address cost and cost-effectiveness research questions on screening for presymptomatic diabetes, continuous glucose monitoring technologies, and other interventions to mitigate short- and long-term complications from diabetes.
