Sujith Ramachandran, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Administration and an Assistant Director for the Center for Pharmaceutical Marketing & Management at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. His research is aimed toward building a high-quality, equitable healthcare system that improves patient outcomes and provides value. He is focused on areas such as pain management, stimulant prescribing, and cancer treatment, where he works on measuring, incentivizing, and reducing disparities in quality and outcomes of healthcare services. He is a recipient of AACP’s 2019 New Investigator Award and has received funding from various governmental, commercial, and non-profit organizations for his research. He teaches doctoral courses on pharmacoepidemiology and patient-reported outcomes. He earned his Bachelors in Pharmacy from Osmania University, Hyderabad in 2011 and completed his MS and PhD in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Mississippi in 2017.
